About Me

 I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to help others.  I love being out in nature and feel a deep connection with it. I truly feel the vibrational energy emanating from its majestic presence.  I have always had strong intuition and have been able to sense the energies around me and of others.  In addition, I have always had a deep spiritual life.  However, starting in the spring of 2010, I was faced with a series of very difficult,  distressing, and painful life events whereupon my beliefs were challenged.  This was after the sudden death of my mother-in-law, who was truly like a mother to me.  These events not only took a toll on me emotionally and spiritually, but also took their toll on me physically.  It was then that I started to reexamine all aspects of my life, ranging from my occupation as a public school educator, to my views on parenting, to my religious and spiritual beliefs.


I began the search to put things in perspective and allow my healing and learning to begin.  In the summer of 2012, I had the fortunate opportunity to travel to the Big Island of Hawaii for a spiritual-healing retreat.  It was there that I first experienced energy healing and meditation, and there, that a tiny seed was planted to explore this area of holistic health as a profession.  Finally, after much reflection, and a daily practice of meditation and prayer, my spiritual beliefs have been strengthened and broadened, my health is better than ever, my outlook on life has been brightened, and the interest in teaching meditation to others and having a Reiki practice has been manifested and solidified.  Whether you are going through a major life challenge, trying to get through an emotional block, dealing with a physical condition, or just want deeper harmony and balance, please allow me the honor and privilege to be of service to you.

My Philosophy

I believe that everyone has the capability of healing and having a life of happiness.  Yes, there will be ups and downs.  Life is like that.  But healing old wounds, taking care of your inner and outer self, following your bliss and learning how to be in the flow, allows us the ability to maneuver through those situations with more grace and ease.  And instead of falling into the depths of despair, we can come out a stronger, wiser, and healthier version of ourselves.


If you’ve ever wondered about reiki, meditation, what it is, or what it can do for you, you are not alone.  Meditation seems to be all the rage right now.  And, although it has been around for thousands of years, it seems to be finally catching up with mainstream society.  With the help of big personalities such as Oprah, Deepak Chopra, Dr. Oz, Ellen DeGeneres, and Russell Brand to name a few, meditation is growing as another holistic health alternative.​

Meditation is a means of gaining and maintaining balance by making time to go within yourself and getting centered.  It is a period of deep relaxation where emotional and physical healing can take place.  It is a state in which our thoughts become settled and sense of calm  Meditation is also a way to gain self-awareness, insight, and a higher level of consciousness.
